The Yearbook’s contents document the events and statistics pertaining to 1954’s Buenos Aires Yiddish community.

For instance, it explores the rapid growth of book sale revenue in which 1952’s sales were 311% of 1951’s categorizing the sales by genre an language with Yiddish books accounting for roughly twice the sales of Hebrew and Spanish books combined (pgs. 332,333).

The statistics are accompanied by an images of a Yiddish sign reading—“The bookshelf is the most beautiful jewel of a Jewish home” as well as a photograph of a bustling literature sales during “Yiddish book month”
